Computer Science HOD Message

Academic leadership, mentoring and quality assurance for the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme at AAMS.

Department of Computer Science

Welcome to a community built on curiosity and rigour

The Computer Science department at Arka Academy of Management Studies works closely with the affiliating university framework, internal academic committees and industry advisors so that every learner receives structured theory, supervised laboratory practice and ethical guidance from admission to graduation.

Letter from the Head of Department

Dear students, parents and guardians,

Choosing computing education today means preparing for roles that demand not only technical fluency but also clarity of communication, teamwork and integrity. In our department, we treat the BCA programme as a balanced pathway: you will strengthen programming and systems fundamentals, learn to document and present your work professionally, and gradually take ownership of larger practical assignments that mirror assessment patterns and workplace expectations.

Faculty members maintain continuous engagement through lectures, laboratory supervision, internal assessments and remedial support wherever needed. We encourage participation in seminars, technical clubs and placement-readiness activities coordinated with the institution’s training and placement cell, so that you graduate with both confidence and a credible portfolio of learning evidence.

We invite you to read the course view, explore faculty profiles, and reach out through the contact page for programme-specific guidance. On behalf of the Computer Science department, we look forward to supporting your journey at AAMS.

With best wishes for your academic success,

Head of Department, Computer Science

Arka Academy of Management Studies, Kendrapada
